A Heli-Ski Limerick for St. Patrick's Day
By CMH's resident jokester, Lori Ayearst
With the 17th of March drawing near
I think of leprechauns, clover, green beer
Or skiing CMH powder
Each guest screaming louder
A lovely Saint Patrick’s Day cheer
Our Ernie, he resembles an elf
He’s as old as heli-skiing itself
And John with Dave by his side
They run the Cariboos with pride
I hope to get there someday myself
Then there’s Dave at the helm of the Bugs
Loves skiing like a junkie loves drugs
A Bugaboo guest
Skis nothing but the best
And leaves with warm wishes and hugs
So make a new St. Paddy’s tradition
Make CMH skiing your mission
But one thing you should know
Please don’t eat green snow
This is my advice and I think you should listen
With this poem I could go on forever
Thinking I was oh so clever
But there’s work to be done
Wish I could ski another run
Instead of working in the office with Trevor!
