It's the most wonderful time of the year....

For the last few months everyone at CMH Heli-Skiing has been busy doing their part to get ramped up for the Heli-Ski Season which began this morning at CMH Galena.  Our first guests of the 2010/2011 Heli-Ski season are hard at it as I type.

The journey to get here takes us down a fun, fast-paced and sometimes bumpy road. Here's a quick snapshot of how it all unfolds as the excitement builds for us and for you, our skiers!

CMH Cariboo Lodge Nov17 10 new snow In the beginning...we start getting photos like this of the CMH Cariboo Lodge with the early snow cover.

CMH Heli-Skiing Guides at Monashee LodgeThen a few weeks later we see this....a group of CMH Heli-Skiing guides gathered together for what is commonly referred to as 'Guides Training'.  Notice the big smiles?  I was talking to Kevin Christakos and Steve Chambers last week and they were both bubbling with excitement about the upcoming ski season.  Kevin said "My feet are itching.  I cannot wait to get out there and ski!"

CMH Heli-Skiing Guide enjoying some Monashee PowderAfter they stand around smiling and getting their photo taken, they get a little bit of this...waist-deep Monashee Pow.  Nice!

Tom Raudaschl Face Shot Dec 2010Which leads to this...CMH Heli-Skiing guide Tom Raudaschl happier than a kid in a candy store.  Wouldn't you be?

Because, my skiing-addicted friends, It's Go Time.  This is what it all leads up to.  The Worlds Greatest Skiing.

Have you booked your heliskiing trip yet?  Plenty of time to tell Santa what you really want this Christmas. (K2 Demo Week at the Monashees, March 12-19.  Santa likes specifics.)  Call CMH Reservations at 1.800.661.0252 or e-mail at
