Many areas of the US also have local websites that feature in-depth trip reports and trail information provided by knowledgeable hiking locals. A quick internet search will reveal any hiking resources in your region. In Canada, check out Hiking in Canada and the Parks Canada website in addition to your local provincial parks such as Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario.
